When she was four, Haruto's father discovered that her mother Yuki cheated on him and that Aki wasn't his daughter and they got divorced; Haruto's father went back to Haruto's Grandfather's house and took Haruto with him and didn't allow any information about Aki and her mother to reach Haruto nor did he let them contact each other again.
Aki and her mother moved to a new place, leaving behind the house they once lived in. Although her mother maintained her relationship with Miharu’s family, Aki deeply missed her brother. She cried for him, calling out his name, but he never returned. Their mother cried alone at night, apologizing to him, but he still didn’t come back. Despite his promise to always be there for her, Haruto didn’t return. Even when her kind mother struggled to raise Aki on her own, Haruto and their father remained absent. When her mother fainted at work from exhaustion, they still didn’t return.
Gradually, Aki’s sadness turned into anger, and eventually, hatred. One day, Miharu mentioned Haruto in front of her, and Aki became furious. Talking about Haruto became taboo, to the point where his name was never spoken again. His stepbrothers grew up never knowing he existed.
Years later her mother got married again with Takahisa and Masato's father and having her new siblings helped her to fill the whole left by Haruto to an extent, later she would meet Satsuki through Miharu and Takahisa and she would begin to look up at her as a little of a superwoman because of her strong personality and independence.

Dragged to Another World[]
In her way back home after her first day at middle shool she got dragged into Satsuki's and Takahisa's hero summoning, she, Miharu and Masato appeared on a grassland near the border of the Galarc kingdom with the Centostella kingdom, they walked together until a highway, there they were spotted by a slave trader that tried to kidnap them, but they were quickly saved by Rio, her brother Haruto's reincarnation.
Rio took the three to the rock house and explained them that they were in another world now, he explained a little about the time and space sorcery and made dinner for the four with Miharu, the next morning Aisia awoke and with her help he taught the stralh's language to Miharu, Aki and Masato, then Rio teleported to the spirit folk's village for asking the elders permission for hiding the three there, two weeks later Aki had an argument with Miharu because she said to her that Rio's aura resemble Haruto's, Aki got out the house and put her back against the wall while curled like a ball on the ground, she's thinking that it was to shout at Miharu when she herself got reminded of Haruto because of Rio, Miharu got out for making up with Aki, then she realized that there were two grey revenants trying to pass through the house's barrier, Aisia appeared and shot shockwaves at the revenants, while Miharu and Aki were going to inside the house a dark grey revenant passed through the barrier and was going to attack them but Rio that has just come back stopped it, Rio and Aisia killed the revenants and the next morning everyone teleported to the spirit folk's village.
Life in Spirit Village[]
At their arrival Rio introduced everyone to Sara, Orphia, Alma and Latifa, there he explained to everyone that his real name was Rio and that he was using Haruto as an alias because he was framed four years ago, Miharu and Masato agreed to keep calling Rio as Haruto for not getting it wrong when going back to the Stralh region, Aki agreed to with a complicated face, but since then in her head she called Rio as Rio and not Haruto, Rio took everyone to the government's built where the elder welcomed them and said that there will a welcome party for everyone that night, in their way to the tree house were Rio uses to live in while in the village, in their way they were introduced to Vera and Arslan.
The next morning everyone saw Rio having a mock battle against Sara, Orphia and Alma at the same time and then another with Uzuma, on the afternoon Aki saw with everyone how Rio tested Masato, she tried to stop it when she saw Masato nearing his limit worried about him, but Masato refused and continued, Aki then stayed in the village for two months and a half learning spirit arts from Orphia, she and Masato were able of learning to control their magic power, to see it and to feel the mana but haven't manage to controlling the mana and activating it successfully.
Rio came back from the Stralh region after his visit to Celia with news about Satsuki, but not about Takahisa something that disappointed Aki, Rio explained to everyone in front of the elders that he would attend the evening party and asked Miharu, Aki and Masato what they wanted do now, while thinking what to do Aki went to look for Miharu wanting advice, then she overheard Latifa telling about her previous life to Miharu in exchange of knowing her feelings for Haruto and Rio, after hearing the conversation Aki run away from them.
After having lunch with everyone Miharu called Aki and Masato to her room and told them her plan of attending the evening party with Rio just her and them to wait at the rock house in the meanwhile, Aki and Masato accepted, there was a farewell party for them two days later where they said their farewells to their new friends Vera and Arslan, the next morning they left village headed towards Galarc's capital.
Bad Reunion[]
Two weeks later, everyone arrived at the rock house near Galarc's capital and met Celia. All the girls took a bath together, asking Celia about her impressions of Rio and his past. Aki looked at Miharu with complicated eyes, unsure whether to declare herself as someone interested in Rio’s past or remain neutral.
Weeks later, on the night before the evening party, Rio and Miharu brought Satsuki to the rock house. After a brief discussion about their lives following the summoning, Satsuki warned Miharu, Masato, and herself to prepare for the possibility of being separated. If Takahisa, the hero of the Centostella Kingdom, asked whom they wanted to stay with, each might choose a different path. Three days later, Aki learned that Takahisa would be at the party. When asked by Miharu and Rio if Aki wanted to meet him, she quickly agreed. During this conversation, Rio revealed to her that he was Haruto's reincarnation. Aki reacted with denial, screaming in anger and asking why he had to tell her now and why he couldn’t let her see him as just her savior. Rio then explained how Haruto had reunited with their mother Yuki before he turned twenty and how, because of this, he knew Miharu was still missing. With Haruto dead, returning to Japan seemed impossible due to the timeline differences. Aki, overwhelmed, shut herself in her room.
The next morning, Rio took Aki and Masato to the castle to meet Takahisa. After their reunion, the Sendo siblings, Miharu, and Satsuki talked about what had happened since the summoning. The talked about Rio’s previous life, his connection to Haruto, and the challenges of returning to Japan. The conversation shifted to who would live with whom. Aki wanted to follow Takahisa to Centostella, while Miharu and Masato wished to stay with Rio. When Miharu mentioned Rio’s reluctance to let them stay, Aki insisted Rio be called back to participate in the discussion.
When Rio returned, Aki and Takahisa questioned his reluctance. Rio explained that traveling with him could be dangerous, and he preferred Miharu and Masato to live in a safer place. Aki then asked if it was true that Miharu could no longer call him “Haru-kun” and he no longer called her “Mii-chan.” Rio reiterated that he was no longer Haruto, emphasizing that Miharu would regret going with him if she expected everything to remain the same. He then asked Aki if she thought of him as Haruto. Aki, frustrated, didn’t deny it. She believed Rio was using his new identity as a convenient excuse to run away from Miharu and her. This conflict stirred a mix of anger and loneliness in Aki, especially since Rio now called her "Aki-chan" instead of just "Aki." The tension culminated in Satsuki becoming angry and challenging Rio to a duel. After losing, she urged him to stop suppressing his feelings for Aki and Takahisa’s sake.
That evening, Rio told the Sendo siblings he would no longer force Miharu or Masato to go to Centostella, as it would be the same as taking away their freedom. Masato was relieved, but Takahisa was furious, accusing Rio of hypocrisy. Takahisa demanded a duel: if he won, Rio would refuse to let Miharu and Masato stay with him. Masato, confident in Rio's victory, joined the bet, knowing the stakes. Aki, deeply anxious, feared this would irreparably damage their sibling relationship. She wanted to reach out to Rio as he walked out, but couldn't.
After Rio won, Takahisa, unable to accept his defeat, began making erratic claims about kidnapping Miharu to "bring her to her senses." He believed that being separated from Haruto and confessing to her would help Miharu regain her formal self. He threatened Liliana, saying he would abandon his hero duties if she didn’t help. Aki intervened, offering to go with Takahisa to prevent further conflict, saying "Onii-chan I will go with you, isn't it fine if it's just me"; though something inside her broke when Takahisa, her last important familial bond, ignored her and, without saying a word, seemingly not care about her.
The evening after the duel, Takahisa announced he would return to Centostella to cool off. He gathered Rio, Miharu, Satsuki, Aki, Masato, and Charlotte in the castle gardens, offering a hollow apology to Rio. Rio accepted, though he remained wary of the lack of guards. Charlotte then asked Satsuki and Rio to join her elsewhere. Aki led Masato away under the pretense of retrieving something from her room, creating a private moment for Takahisa and Miharu. Takahisa asked Miharu to stay back under the pretext that he wanted to discuss something privately. Aishia, in her spiritual form, watched over them, transmitting the conversation to Rio.
Later, soldiers came for Aki and Masato. Masato was taken back when hearing about the failed kidnapping, while Aki was brought to the same room as Takahisa. Satsuki confronted them, exposing Takahisa’s motives: Takahisa can't stand the fact that Miharu likes another man. Takahisa lost his words when completely seen through.
Satsuki told Aki and Takahisa that they're forbidden for seeing or talking to Rio and Miharu, and that Aki would be sent to Centostella whether she wants to or not. When she heard that, Aki broke down, realizing her actions had led to this. Not only will she be separated from Miharu, but she lost any opportunity to reconnect with her former older brother. Masato, seeing their despair, asked to speak with his siblings. Despite his efforts, Takahisa remained unrepentant, and Aki wept uncontrollably. Masato consoled her, urging her to think before acting if she was going to regret it later.
Two days later, Aki was taken to the Centostella Kingdom.
Relationships[]
- Haruto Amakawa
- In Earth life, Aki used love her half brother quite a lot, playing together with Miharu and Haruto. He promised his half sister to always be by her side. But everything had changed when their parents divorced (her mother cheated on the husband). The father took Haruto and disappeared from her life letting her completely devastated. Aki puts all the blame on Haruto, thinking he was a liar (she didn't know it was her mother's fault). She kept her grudge even when she was summoned to another world.
- She is dumfounded when Rio introduced himself with the same name she hates to hear but can't express it as he is her savior. After the banquet in Garlac kingdom she learns Rio is reincarnated with her step brother's memories and immediately begin to hate him, double time when she learns Miharu wants to stay with Rio, crushing her perfect world in which she could live the perfect life with Miharu and Takahisa. This hatred lead her at such point she can't think rationally and proposed the idea to kidnap Miharu and bring her by force to Constentella kingdom.
- After her failed attempt and being punished (she isn't allowed to see or contact Miharu), she began to question herself recognizing that her hatred was stupid: Haruto was only 7-years-old when their parents divorced and there was nothing he could have done to prevent it. She needed a scapegoat and take the most easy one. She still tries to recollect her feelings about Haruto but no longer harbors bad feelings about him.
- Ayase Miharu
- She treats her as an older sister, after the divorce the loneliness and the trauma of having her brother taken away from her made her overdependent on Miharu. Takahisa took that place quickly (despite Miharu was sometime discomfortable with him and his manners). Aki really would like to set-up Miharu with her new brother.
- After her failed attempt to kidnap Miharu and being severely punished (from her point of view), she took time to think. When Masato and Liliana disappear from the castle, Takahisa asks the king of Constentella to be send with his sister to retrieve the princess and his little brother who are now in Galarc kingdom. Aki apologized and made up with Miharu, recognizing she knew Miharu was in love with Haruto and she tried to crush her feelings and it was wrong from her.
- Sendo Takahisa
- Her older step-brother, his presence helped her to close the hole that Haruto's absence left in her. At such point she was ready to listen to everything he told her, even collaborating with him to kidnap Miharu risking to cause an international crisis with Galarc kingdom. After the amnesia arc, Aki knew her brother still harbor feelings for Miharu but this time she clearly refuse to help him when he asks for her aid to convince Miharu to go to Constentella kingdom (this time legally) arguing she doesn't want to betray everyone's feeling. She even said it's better for him to return as he is in turmoil and can get focused because of Miharu and she will join him later.
- Sendo Masato
- Her little step-brother, she always scolds him every time she thinks he's acting too childish.
- Sumeragi Satsuki
- Her friend, for Aki she's seen as a little of a superwoman, she admires her strength and independence.
- Latifa
- They become friends pretty fast after meeting each other, always going everywhere in the village together, though Aki doesn't really know Latifa's background nor past.
